The cabinet front panels are easily removed
by removing a few screws that secure the
panels to the cabinet side panel edges or in
the case of the lower service panel, to the
frame.
The lower service panel is secured by one
screw on each side. There are spacers on
the inside of the panel that these screws
pass through. The spacers are used to avoid
damage caused to the panel if the screws are
over tightened. Remove these screws and
spacers, the panel can then be pulled off and
set aside. Removing the lower service panel
provides access to:
Drain valve assembly (motor driven drain
valve): The valve is secured to the frame by
two 6mm bolts (use a 13mm socket and/or
wrench)
Manual door release pull cord (Hangs down
left edge of opening)
Model and serial number label is found on
base frame cross member
Hold-down bolts for the front and center frame
members can be reached through the lower
service opening (tighten at six month intervals)

The main front panel is secured by bolts
along the inside lower edge of the control
panel (raise the top) and the screws on the
front panel. In order to get the front panel off
without removing the loading door it may be
necessary to remove the door lock assembly
cover.
With the front panel screws and bolts
removed, pull the panel forward enough to
allow rotation of the panel 90 degrees (left or
right) to clear the loading door ring.
A newer version of the front panel was
introduced in 2009. The new panel has
changed the door lock access, which also
allows the front panel to be removed without
rotating it 90 degrees to pass over the door
assembly.
