There are 15 pre-programmed wash cycles
with an option to program 99 wash cycle
options on the PN models. On the PD models,
after the cycle selection is made the proper
amount of coins will be required to be entered
into the coin drop mechanism. The proper
amount will be shown in the display and the
display will change as coins are accepted. In
some cases the washers may be outfitted with
a Card Reader device, this device will require
a specific type of card to pay the vend price.
After the correct amount of coins, or a vend
card is inserted with an available balance on
it is entered, the washer will lock the door
latch so that the door cannot be opened
manually until the cycle has completed. On
the PN models, use the key pad to enter the
number of the desired cycle. The name of
the selected cycle will be displayed. Press
the START button to start the wash cycle. If
no wash cycle is available for the selected
program number, INVALID will be displayed.
After the cycle is selected there is a prompt to
select Enter, press Enter and the door latch
will lock and remain locked until the end of the
cycle. With PN models there is a 150 second
window of opportunity to change the cycle
selection by pressing Select again. In both
cases the washer will begin to fill with water
through the chemical dispenser compartment
"A". This is the prewash and detergent can be
used in the "A" compartment as well as the
main wash or compartment "B". Compartment
"C" is used for fabric softener. Tumbling starts
when the water begins to enter.
While the washer is running, the display will
show the following information:
For all models, washer will not start until
the door latches and desired cycle button
or "START" button is pressed. If door is not
closed, close and latch door, then press the
desired cycle or "START" button again. During
