Procedure
Test 1. Absolute Wavelength Accuracy
Wavelength accuracy is verified using traceable light sources such as the following
devices:
Do not exceed +18 dBm source power. The Keysight 86120B's input
circuitry can be damaged when total input power exceeds 18 dBm.
Use three or four light standards that cover the Keysight 86120B's wavelength
range. Connect the traceable sources to the Keysight 86120B and verify that the
Keysight 86120B is reading the sources to within the absolute wavelength accuracy
specification.
