The QSFP+ slots are initially configured as stacking slots for the
VCStack feature. If you will use the switch as a stand-alone unit, you
can use the slots with transceivers as regular Ethernet networking
ports by disabling the VCStack feature. The instructions are
provided in Chapter 6, "Configuring the Switch for Stand-alone
Operations" on page 99.
