3. Withdraw the probe from the sample through the following sequence of operations:
a. Go to the

(Fig. 9-36).
b. Double-click in the
Control panel of the
of 2÷3 mm.
c. To retract the probe from the sample, click the
group (Fig. 9-38).
4. Retract the lens from the sample by rotating the manual approach knob clockwise.
5. Switch off the laser.
6. Switch off the SPM controllers.
7. Switch off the spectrometer.
8. Close the Control program.
