12.2 To Back Up the Configuration

1.
Ensure that the destination drive is inserted in the Control Module.

Login as an Engineer.
3.
From the System Status screen select the Tool Box icon then System Configuration then System Management.

Re-enter the password and select Login.
5.
Select CCB Management and click on Configuration Backup:

Select the required drive.
The system will display a message 'The configuration backup process might take a few minutes. The User Interface

is not accessible during this time. Do you want to proceed?' Ensure that destination drive is always connected during
this operation.

Once the action is confirmed, the configuration backup process starts and a progress message is displayed. The
backup may take several minutes depending on the system size.

The Configuration backup file is stored on the memory device in:

12.3 Restoring the Configuration

The CCB remains operational during a System Restore and may initiate unwanted actions (see CAUTION below).
Note: The user interface is not available until the entire restore process, including power cycling, is complete. In addition a
Restore will not work if a module is in a Fault state so all faults must be rectified first.
Note: A backup may be restored if the CCB UDID is different from the CCB UDID in the backup file, but not when the
module UDIDs present in the system are different to the module UDIDs recorded in the backup file.
A pop-up confirms the changes have been made.
Disconnect all TPPR outputs before restoring the configuration as it may cause unwanted activation of beacons,
Calibration data is lost during a system restore so you must recalibrate your sensors following the restore.
12.3.1 To Restore the Configuration
1.
Ensure that the system is working correctly with no ring or module faults present.
2.
Ensure that the SD card or USB drive containing the required backup file is installed.
3.
Login as an Administrator.
From the System Status screen select the Tool Box icon...

...then System Configuration>System Management.

Re-enter the password and select Login.
7.
Select CCB Management and click on Configuration Restore:

Select your restore point from the list and click OK.
The system will display a message identifying that the present system configuration will be overwritten, and will ask if you
want to continue.
Once the action is confirmed, the configuration restoration process starts and a progress message is displayed. The process
may take several minutes depending on the system size.
You should generate a configuration report to verify the settings once the configuration is restored.
You should recalibrate your sensors if required (see Ch.8 Calibrating Gas Sensors).
