9.5 Relay Output Module Parameters

Relay Output Module (ROM) channels may be configured as blank channels, or by copying an existing configured channel.
If configured by copying another channel, it is possible to edit individual settings.
Note that if there is a system failure all ROM module relays will de-energise, regardless of their configured states.

The NC contact is closed
The alarm conditions are usually already configured
as latching; therefore the output channel is
configured non-latching as the default setting.
The output module will activate the output channel
after the 'Delay Time' interval has expired. This
only applies for the transition 'normal to active'.
The output module will set the output channel into
normal condition after the 'Hold Time' interval has
expired. This only applies for the transition 'active
to normal' and only if the output is configured as
non-latching.
If enabled the system will report any auxiliary
output overload as a fault. The overload condition
applies to the module, so it will be reported on all
enabled channels.
If enabled, only unacknowledged alarm conditions
will be considered during C&E evaluation for this
output channel.
An alarm acknowledgement will reset a relay output
that is configured for alarm update function.
However if the alarm update is NOT enabled the
relay contact will only be reset if the alarm is reset.
Default is set to hold the relay on, but could be set
to pulse the output, e.g. for a beacon or sounder.
