10.2.3 LTEL Reset
LTEL alarms can be manually reset when the alarm is still active (force reset) but only when the ambient gas value is less
than LTEL alarm level and with no Gas-Over-Range warnings on the system.
10.2.4 Resolution and Reporting
Resolution for STEL is 0.5 Minutes. Alarm reporting may be delayed by up to 30 seconds of the configured interval. STEL
Alarm may report earlier than the configured interval based on the Gas Concentration value over the period and the
configured 'STEL Alarm Level'.
Resolution for LTEL is 10 Minutes. Alarm reporting may be delayed by 10 minutes. LTEL Alarm may report earlier than the 8
Hours based on the Gas Concentration value over the period and the configured 'LTEL Alarm Level'.
10.2.5 STEL and LTEL Evaluation During Channel Inhibit
During Channel Inhibit state, the CCB sets the 'Gas Concentration Value' to the programmed Gas Range (min) for
evaluation of STEL and LTEL TWA, but it does not evaluate the STEL and LTEL Alarms.
10.2.6 STEL and LTEL Evaluation During Channel Fault
STEL and LTEL faults can be further divided into two sub-categories:
1. Fault conditions, in which the CCB knows the Gas Concentration Value; i.e. Signal Under Range / Signal Over
Range.
In this state CCB continues to calculate the Time Weighted Averages.
2. Fault conditions, in which the CCB does not know the Gas Concentration Value; i.e. Module Ring Communication
Error, Channel Open / Short / Diagnosis Error.
During this Channel Fault state, the CCB will set the Gas Concentration Value to the programmed Gas Range (min)
for evaluation of STEL and LTEL TWA.
