POTENTIAL OPERATING ISSUES

18 Error Codes

The TPPR Controller may generate an error message if an exception is encountered. Each message has a code number
that is listed, with its explanations and suggested remedy, in the table below.
Key:
CCB = Control Centre Board; COB = Communication Board; I/O = Input/Output Module; UDID = Unique Device Identifier.

2 Operation failed; invalid frame
length. Please retry the
operation. If the problem
persists, please contact your
local service representative.
3 Operation failed; invalid source
address. Please verify that the
current COB software and CCB
firmware revisions are
compatible.
4 I/O Module parameter write
failed; UDID does not match.
5 Not used.
6 Operation failed; invalid channel
type.
7 Operation failed; invalid request
type.
8 Operation failed; invalid
command code.
9 Operation failed; invalid object
type.
10 Operation failed; invalid object
identifier.
11 Operation failed; invalid
parameter identifier.
12 Operation failed; wrong
parameter identifier.
