Exclamation point: The device cannot be configured due to capacity
limits. The UC 320W supports 8 phones by default, and you can
purchase additional licenses to support up to 24 phones. The phone
limit does not apply to an analog phone that is connected to the built-in
FXS port but does apply to analog phones that are connected to
SPA 8800 gateways.
To manually add a phone and attached side cars:
Click Create Phone. Enter the MAC address of the phone in the following format:
xxxx.xxxx.xxxx, where x is a number or letter in the MAC address. A device's MAC
address can be found on the hardware label on the bottom panel of the device.
Indicate the number of attached side cars by clicking the up- or down-arrow
button.
To remove a manually added device:
Click the Delete (X) button for the device.
Use the Update Firmware page to review the current firmware for your system
and to upgrade the firmware as needed.
Opening this page: From the navigation pane, choose Updates > Update
Firmware.
The current firmware version is displayed. If you have downloaded a newer
version from Cisco.com, you can click Upgrade from your PC to install your new
firmware. After you select the firmware file, the upgrade process begins. Status
messages appear. Do not disconnect power, press the reset button, close the web
browser, or navigate to another web page during this process.
Wait for the UC 320W and all connected devices to reboot. This process may take
some time. At the end of the process, the browser may prompt you about
navigating to a new web page; click OK. The login page appears. If there are
errors, a message appears.
Your web browser may display a message indicating that the server cannot be
reached. This situation occurs because the connection from the PC to the UC 320W
is interrupted during the reboot process. After the UC 320W reboots, the
connection will be restored, and you can log on to the configuration utility.
