External: Click this button to route the call to an external number. Choose
a digit to get an outside line, and enter the phone number.
To identify the FXO line for this shared line, refer to the Lines (FXO)
Available to be Shared list. It includes all FXO lines that are not assigned for
outbound calling. Use your mouse to drag an FXO line to the Shared FXO
Lines box. A shared line icon appears next to the assigned FXO line. Repeat
this step as needed to add other lines.
To remove an FXO line from this shared line, use your mouse to drag and
drop the line button into the Lines (FXO) Available to Be Shared list. The
shared line icon no longer appears next to the FXO line in the list.
To add another shared line, click the Create a Shared FXO Line Group
button.
Select Members
Click the Select Members button to open this section. To close this section,
click the button again.
To add a member, check the box next to the user's name. Selected users
appear with a green background.
To select all users, click Select All. To de-select all users, click Clear All.
To remove a user from the group, uncheck the box next to the user's name.
Unselected users appear with a white background.
This list includes all users except users of FXS phones and SPA 301
NOTE
phones. If a user does not have an assigned phone, the background is gray.
If you previously configured a shared line and then a member's phone
assignment was removed, the background appears red. To configure users,

Use the Shared Extensions page to allow a group of users to answer, monitor, and
manage calls that are placed to the shared extension number.
To simplify the display, only the Label field appears when you first view this page.
After you type a label, additional features appear. Enter the remaining information,
as described in this Help topic. Either complete the entry or delete it; an incomplete
entry produces an error, indicated by a red X in the navigation tree.
