To reset a Cisco SPA 301 or Cisco SPA 501 IP phone:
Lift the receiver.
To connect to the Interactive Voice Response unit, press the asterisk key four
times: ****.
After the greeting, enter the following option:
Press the pound key (#) to submit.
When prompted, press 1 to confirm.
Wait about 40 seconds for the Option Successful message, and then hang up.
To reset a Cisco SPA 525G and SPA 525G2 IP phone:
Press the Setup key on the phone keypad.
Scroll down to Device Administration, and press Select.
Scroll down to Factory Reset, and press Select.
When the confirmation message appears, select OK.
To reset other Cisco SPA 300 Series and Cisco SPA 500 Series IP phones:
Press the Setup key on the phone keypad.
Scroll down to Factory Reset, and press Select.
When the confirmation message appears, select OK.
To reset a Cisco SPA 8800 IP Telephony Gateway:
To use the Interactive Voice Response unit, connect an analog phone to an FXS
port of the SPA 8800 gateway.
Lift the receiver of the FXS phone.
