Error messages

The following errors, if detected during the POST, will be
displayed on-screen.

Address line short
Board configuration
problem detected
Cache memory failure
Chipset configuration
problem detected
CMOS failure
CMOS battery low
CMOS checksum lost
Description
The CMOS restart byte cannot hold
data.
The address decoding circuitry of
the processor has failed.
The data line test failed.
The interrupt channel has failed.
Description
The address decoding circuitry of the
processor has caused an error.
There is a problem with the
configuration of the Matrox 4Sight
motherboard.
Cache memory is defective.
A problem was encountered with the
chipset configuration.
The CMOS has failed.
The battery power is low. Replace it.
After CMOS values are saved, a
checksum value is generated for error
checking. The expected value is different
from the returned value. To correct the
problem, run the BIOS Setup program,
then select the Write to CMOS and Exit
option.
