22 Safety and Servicing Information
It is beyond the scope of this manual to list every tool that a service
technician should carry. However, the tools specifically required for
servicing TB8100 equipment are listed in the table below. You can also
obtain the TBA0ST2 tool kit from your nearest Tait Dealer or Customer
Service Organisation. It contains the basic tools needed to install, tune and
service TB8100 equipment.

remover (as shown in

Location / Function
secure the SMA connector to the reciter and PA front
panel
all M3 screws
all M4 screws
secure the VHF splitter and combiner boards to the PA
heatsink
DC input terminals on the PMU
secure the RF power transistors to the PA heatsink
secure the speaker to the control panel chassis
secure the BNC/TNC connectors to the reciter rear
panel
secure the RF coaxial cables to the SMA connectors on
the PA and reciter
