How to work with the HI-TIPPLUS* and aTIP* system*

Aborted projections

It is not always possible for the TIP systems to project a complete fictional X-ray image or a fictional threat
object; for example, if the projected object exceeds the length of the baggage item. In this case, the conveyors
are stopped and the object, which has partly been projected, or the fictional X-ray image, are provided with a
black/yellow frame. Then the object or image is deleted and one of the following messages appears on the
screen (the messages can alternatively appear with blue background colour in units with newer software):
Message 6
The projection of a fictional threat object on the image of a real baggage item has been aborted by the TIP
system.

send the baggage item to the recheck then.
Message 7
The projection of a fictional X-ray image has been canceled by the TIP system.
