As basic version, the HI-SCAN X-ray unit is equipped with a keyboard
and a colour monitor. For single view units a further monitor* can be
used to display the black and white image. Dual view units are equipped
with a main monitor and a second monitor for displaying the two object
views. Screen menus and messages are displayed only on the main
monitor.
Keyboard and monitor(s) can be integrated in an operating unit*. The
latter can either be attached to the X-ray unit as operating unit ad-
justable in height* provided with a lifting pillar, or placed on top of the
X-ray inspection unit (option operating console*), or located on an oper-
ating desk*.
Further controls and indicators are located on the X-ray unit housing.

How to adjust the operating unit*

How to unfold the keyboard*

 Insert the appropriate key into the lock of the keyboard
support and turn it to the right.
 Pull out the black button to the left on the keyboard
support and pan the keyboard into the desired position.
The button engages at 3 positions.

How to adjust the operating unit adjustable in height*

 Use the two buttons on the lifting pillar arm to move
the operating unit up and down electrically.
 Additionally, the operating unit can be panned by about
90° to the right/left.
