Attention!
The HI-SCAN X-ray unit is still active for about 1 minute until it will shut down itself. During this
time the power-on indicator is illuminated
If, for some particular reasons, the X-ray unit is to be disconnected completely from the electrical
mains supply, you have to wait until the power-on indicator has extinguished before withdrawing
the mains plug or deactivating the mains supply! The non-compliance with this instruction may
lead to the destruction of the X-ray unit.
If the X-ray inspection unit is equipped with the option power fail buffer*, audible warning signals
will be sounded when you unplug it. These signals will not stop until you connect the unit to the
mains or switch off the incorporated UPS unit, if accessible (F 1-31 - "How to switch on").
Even if you do not use the X-ray unit, you should not disconnect it from the mains since, other-
wise, the buffer batteries will not be charged!
 Fold up the keyboard* and remove the key.
 Position the tunnel covers* correctly in front of the tunnel entrances and exits and depress the bolts.
 Keep all keys in a safe place.
