How to correct operating troubles
Cause/Correction
 Ask a higher access level user to perform a calib-
ration.
 Check the error messages collected in the Error
report (F 1-93) and obey the contained instruc-
tions.
 Check the keyboard plug connection as far as it is
accessible.
 Due to an internal error you cannot scan bag
codes by means of the hand-held scanner. The er-
ror may perhaps be eliminated by switching the
unit off and on again. Nevertheless you can still
enter the bag code manually.
 A valid bag identification code consists of at least
4 characters.
 Check if the adapter plug in the connecting cable
of the hand-held scanner has come loose. If so,
switch off the unit and wait until all indicators on
the keyboard have extinguished. Then restore the
connection to the hand-held scanner and switch
the unit on again.
