The X-ACT system* does not work correctly

Cause
After some time of operation, X-ray generator para-
meters change slightly. Due to the high selectivity of
the X-ACT system, this might lead to detection
troubles.

A short image scroll is triggered without any object being scanned

This is no error. The unit's setting is such as to allow even very short objects to be detected and scanned.
This leads to the light barrier detecting and in
having entered the tunnel as another fictional object and so activating X-rays and initiating an image scroll.

The X-ray unit shows other image interferences

Cause
Sources of interference, like machines which are not
radio-screened or walkie-talkies interfere with the
X-ray unit.

Conveyors reverse when stopping or starting them

This is no error. The reverse movement is to ensure that items which have partly been scanned will be rep-
resented completely and without any visible cuts or to ensure that the imaging system will be calibrated be-
fore the scanning.

The conveyors only move when the start key is constantly actuated

This is no error. The unit is either set to locking off function of the control keys (F 1-25) or to function Con-
tinuous scanning (F 1-53).
