 When electronically marked items leave the inspection
tunnel, an audible signal is triggered. This function will
help you or your colleague to separate the suspect
item from the non-suspect items on the tunnel exit side.
 If the X-ray inspection unit is not equipped with a sep-
arate recheck station*, the baggage or freight item
should be rechecked manually at a place where you
can have a look at the X-ray unit's monitor. To facilitate
the recheck, you can recall the corresponding X-ray
image on the monitor with the REVIEW function

Send X-ray image to recheck station(s)*

If one or more recheck station(s)* is/are connected to the
HI-SCAN unit, pressing
or freight item electronically (audible signal, see above)
will, simultaneously, lead to the transfer of the corres-
ponding X-ray image to a free recheck station.
If the image cannot be transmitted to any recheck station, since all of them are occupied, a respective error
message (F 1-95) will appear.

Send X-ray image to Central Image Data Archive CIDA*

If the HI-SCAN unit is connected to a Central Image Data Archive* (CIDA) via a data network*, the suspect
baggage or freight item will not only be marked with
same time, the corresponding X-ray image will be transferred to the image data archive.

Particularities of units equipped with the Xport image transfer system*

If the Xport image transfer system is set to automatic transfer all X-ray images will be converted by means of
the Xport image transfer system and then transferred either via a data network* to the Xport target com-
puter* or to a USB memory* that is connected to the X-ray unit as soon as the corresponding baggage or
freight items have been completely scanned.
 If the automatic transfer is switched off* (with newer software) you can transfer single X-ray images by
pressing the priority key assigned to the TRANSFER IMAGE* function.
