 In case you are in doubt of the location of the γ radiation source you can detect the latter by means of a
hand-held meter suitable for measuring γ radiation.

 The detected radiation source's intensity is by several times higher than that of the radiation warning.

The functions HI-SPOT* and High Density Alert* - HDA

Using the functions HI-SPOT and High Density Alert your
attention will automatically be drawn to higher absorbing
objects in the X-ray image by corresponding markings, if
the objects have a certain minimum size and absorption
degree.
Function HI-SPOT highlights the image sections contain-
ing higher absorbing objects with the display of higher
penetration (HIGH). Higher access level users can select a
constant or a blinking display.
Function High Density Alert provides higher absorbing
objects with a pink frame.
