How to start and terminate your work
Variant 2 - partial switch-off in case of an emergency stop
Conveyors, conveyor line* and X-ray generators are switched off immediately when an emergency stop but-
ton is pressed, the electronics and monitors of the X-ray units remain switched on.
Possibly, the following window or other error message appears:
 If neither the illustrated window nor any other error message appears after an emergency stop button
was actuated, press the

 After you have eliminated the safety risk reset the emergency stop button by turning or pulling (F 1-94).
In older units the power supply for the conveyors and X-ray generators will be thus restored automatic-
ally.
 In newer units, however, you have to briefly turn the key switch on the keyboard of the X-ray unit to the
right to position II (clearing the emergency stop state and restoring the power supply for conveyors an X-
ray generators).
 Delete possibly existing error messages with
 After a short while you can restart the conveyors.

How to log in

If a login procedure has been selected for the HI-SCAN X-ray unit, the window for entering your User ID will
be displayed on the screen.

Login via ISIS card*

If the X-ray unit is equipped with ISIS* (Intelligent Screener Identification System), you can or have to log in
with your ISIS card.
