Attention!
If a dual view unit is equipped with the X-ACT system*, suspicious objects will be detected and
framed in the view that is displayed on the main monitor!
When switching over the View/monitor assignment the calibration data of the previous view will be
deleted! Therefore you must carry out a complete calibration for the new view afterwards (F 2-83)!

The position of the main monitor*

(only for dual view units)
The position of the main monitor and of the second monit-
or is determined during the installation of the unit by the
connection to the corresponding video cable. The position
of the monitors can be changed subsequently by changing
over the video connections.
 So that afterwards the left and right navigator keys for
the zoom function are assigned correctly to the two
monitors, select in the Position main monitor menu
item the left or right setting correspondingly.

How to set the power fail buffer*

If the X-ray inspection unit is equipped with a power fail buffer*, you can determine how long the X-ray unit is
kept ready to operate in case of power failure. If, within this buffer time the power supply is restored, you can
continue to carry out scannings at once. In this case, the unit needs not be switched on again. Images of
already scanned objects will not be lost.
If the power failure lasts longer than the set buffer time, the unit switches off automatically.
 The Buffer time in case of power failure can be set in the last menu item of Operating options (see above).
I
If it happens that the batteries have not reached the full loading capacity due to power failures
arising very often and, as a consequence, the X-ray unit switches off itself before expiration of the
buffer time, you should set a shorter buffer time.
