How to configure the OTS XTrain system*
 In the first menu item Images per projection you set the number of projections in relation to the number of
recalled basic images, in the second menu item Diversification range you set the diversification of projec-
tions around the previously set number of basic images.
I
If, for example, the diversification range is 20% at a ratio of 1 projection per 100 basic images, the
projection may be made already after the 80th or only after the 120th basic image.
 In the third menu item Random projections you set the percentage of the number of projections set above
to be made at random. These random projections may be made either within or out of the diversification
range. You thus allow to have projections following another closely.
S
Attention!
If the value for the diversification range and the random projections is 0%, the operator may calculate
the next projection by simply counting the basic images! The higher the percentage values, the less
defined the projections take place.
 Both, detected and non detected threat objects and im-
ages are marked by a yellow/black frame. In the last
menu item Delete projections after... you determine
how long framed objects remain visible on the screen
before they are automatically deleted.

How to set the decision times

 Use the navigator to go to menu item Decision
time settings and activate this menu item. The
menu illustrated is displayed.
 In the first menu item Decision time - threat objects you
set the decision time a operator is given to detect a
projected fictitious threat object, i.e. the time he has
got until he either actuates
scroll.
2-70
H
or stops the image
I
With the setting 0 the deletion of the
projection is deactivated.
S
Attention!
The value for this time should be smal-
ler than the value set for the image
change frequency (F 2-65)! Otherwise,
the image is removed from the screen
before the operator has finished the
evaluation.
