5.6 Displaying or adapting the telegram configuration
Drive
Display or setting of the telegram type used. The standard setting (Page 104)
depends on the NCU/NX device version and the Safety Integrated mode
(Page 164) that is set. The selectable telegram types depend on the purpose of
the telegram.

Display of the process data word (PZD) The currently set start address for the
Length of the telegram in bytes or words. The telegram length depends on the
telegram type used.
Display of the extension of the relevant telegram in words or setting, if supported
by the telegram type.
The use of various consistency areas is useful to optimize the performance of an
S7-CPU. Consistency areas that are longer than two words must be edited with
system functions. You can use the effective Load/Transfer commands for con-
sistency areas up to two words.
Total length:
The consistency applies for all data of this slot. This default entry should usually
be sufficient.
Unit:
The consistency applies for one process data word.
You must configure at least a "2" word "Total length" for the transfer of a double
word.
Display of the process image (partition), which is used to consistently transfer the
data.
Specification of the interrupt OB number for the output of diagnostic information.
If this option is activated, you have the capability of assigning the F-monitoring
time manually. Otherwise the F-monitoring time will be assigned according to the
global parameterization at the interface (DP interface > F-parameters).
