Prepare the Server for Hot Service (Oracle ILOM
CLI)
This procedure describes how to prepare the server to remove, replace, or install hot-service
components. A hot-service component can be serviced while the server is operating at
Main power mode. For more information about component serviceability, see
Serviceability Requirements" on page
Open an SSH session and at the command line log in to the SP Oracle ILOM CLI.

Log in as a user with root or administrator privileges. For example:
ipaddress
ssh root@
where ipaddress is the IP address of the server module SP. Type a password when prompted.
