Two cables with mini SAS connectors connect the HBA to the storage drive backplane.

Install the HBA Card
The host bus adapter (HBA) card is installed in an internal PCIe slot on the SMOD
motherboard.

Before You Begin
1. Position the HBA card with the component side facing up and the edge
connector pointed away from you.
Do not disconnect the cables from the SMOD.
