Filling the water tank

NOTICE
Note on the tank cap opener
Using the tank cap opener
If you find the tank cap, tank drain or filter insert hard to open by hand, use
the tank cap opener (see "Using the tank cap opener" [ 46]).

✔ The water tank has been drained, see "Removing water from the unit" [
46].
1. Pull out the water tank at the front of the unit.
2. Turn the tank cap counter-clockwise and take it off.
CAUTION
Damage to surfaces!
When undiluted, DENTATEC milling additive etches plastic surfaces and
can cause discoloration.
➢ Do not place DENTATEC on the unit.
➢ Do not spill DENTATEC.
3. Add approx. 75 ml of DENTATEC to the tank.
4. Fill the tank with water until the filter insert is completely immersed (up to
the bottom edge of the cap thread, approx. 3 liters).
5. Wait for a short time until the filter insert is completely soaked with water;
then add a corresponding amount of water.
6. Close the water tank by tightening the tank cap clockwise by hand. Do not
use the tank cap opener for this.
7. Push the water tank back into the housing.
8. Switch the unit on (seeSwitching the unit on and off [ 22]).
