Manager Password:
♦ #PSWD0, Manager password
♦ Alphanumeric max length 6, min length 4(default 123123)
♦ Usage: Sets the terminal manager password.
Bit Map for Password:
♦ #PSWD1, 1 for protect, 0 for off
♦ Binary max length 24 (default:000000000101001100001110)
♦ Usage: When this feature is enabled, the manager password must be entered to
perform a transaction. See table within this document for bit map position definitions.
Batch Recovery Password:
♦ #PSWDR, Batch recovery password
♦ Alphanumeric max length 6, min length 4 (default 99999)
♦ Usage: Sets the password used to access the batch recovery function. This
password is provided by the host.
Sales Tax Prompt:
♦ #PTAX, Prompt for Sales Tax : [0]=Use Card Flag, 1=Always, 2=Never
♦ Numeric max length 1, (default=0)
♦ Usage: If prompted will use the bin range setting or always prompts for tax
depending on which value was used.
Prompt for Tip:
♦ #PTIP, Prompt For Tip : Y or [N]
♦ Enable/Disable (default=disable)
♦ Question max length 1 character
♦ Usage: If the value equals [Y] will prompt for tip during the transaction, if set to [N]
will not prompt for tips but the tips can be added after the sale. This parameter is
used for either restaurant or retail tip transactions.
Prompt for Recurring Payment:
♦ #RCPMT, Prompt for Recurring Payment : Y or [N]
♦ Enable/Disable (default=disable)
♦ Question max length 1 character
♦ Usage: Controls whether the terminal prompts for recurring payment for card not
present type transactions.
