Do You Have a Pin?
♦ #PINQ, Prompt Do You Have Pin?: [Y] or N
♦ Enable/Disable (default = enable)
♦ Question max length 1 character
♦ Usage: Turns on or off the DO YOU HAVE A PIN? prompt during all swiped card
transactions when swiped from the IDLE prompt. If the prompt parameter is set to [Y]
then if yes to the prompt question, the transaction prompts for DEBIT or EBT type
transactions. If no to the prompt question, then the transaction will process as a
credit card type transaction.
PIN pad PIN Key Management:
♦ #PNKEY, Pin Key Management 1=Master, [2]=DUKPT 3=DUAL
♦ Numeric max length 1, (default = 2)
♦ Usage: Determines which type of PIN pad encryption will be utilized.
PIN Pad Type
♦ #PNTYP, PIN pad Type 1=1000,2=201,[3]=BnkPt
♦ Numeric max length 1 (default = 3)
♦ Usage: Determines which PIN pad device will be connected to the terminal.
Phone Order Prompt
♦ #POBYP, Bypass Phone Order Prompt: Y or [N]
♦ Enable/Disable (default = disable)
♦ Question max length 1 character
♦ Usage: Turns on or off the PHONE ORDER? prompt. If the parameter value is equal
to [N] the phone order prompt will display if the transaction is a keyed credit card,
card not present and non-recurring type transaction. If yes to the prompt question,
the transaction is set as a phone order type transaction. The transaction defaults to
an e-commerce field, if this field is set to N and #ECYES and #ECBYP are set to Y.
Host Primary Phone Number
♦ #PPNC, Host Primary Phone Number
♦ Provided by Host
♦ Phone number field: max length 20 (default = host primary phone number)
♦ Usage: The first phone number the terminal attempts to dial for sending transactions.
Does not apply to split dial type transactions such as TeleCheck and American
Express.
