LIKE THIS, stand for display messages. Printers The LinkPoint AIO terminal supports a high speed, integrated thermal printer. The fixed thermal print head adds to reliability with the print speed at 14 lines per second. Paper loading uses a patented trouble free drop-in loading system.

Installation Installing the LinkPoint AIO (All-In-One) terminal is simple and requires no tools. 1. Find the power input on the back of the terminal near the paper tray (see Figure 3). Figure 3 Connect the male AC adapter plug to the power connector at the rear of the terminal (see Figure 4).

Once the terminal is plugged in and the telephone cord is connected, gently pop the latch (Figure 7), open the cover (Figure 8), load the printer with a roll of thermal paper (Figure 9) and close the cover.
Be sure to mention the serial number on the bottom of your terminal. CAUTION: Do not try to service, adjust or repair the LinkPoint AIO (All-In-One) terminal yourself; doing so will void your warranty.
Entering Alphanumeric Data from the Keypad The LinkPoint AIO keypad has 30 keys that can be used to enter as many as 52 different alphanumeric characters. To enter numbers and special characters (i.e., +) simply press the appropriate key.
Thermal Printer A download option can either enable or disable printing on the integrated AIO thermal printer. The printer will print a second copy of the customer receipt but without the signature and promissory note lines. The application will pause between copies for the number of seconds indicated by the #PRSEC host parameter setting or until the [ENTER] key is pressed before printing the second copy.
The terminal edit column has been added to the parameters charts. A “Y” listed in the column indicates a parameter that can be edited from the LinkPoint terminal and not just from the download file.

♦ Usage: Turns on or off pre-printing of receipts. If the parameter value is set to [Y] then the terminal will pre-print the title, headers and the date and time before a transaction is complete. The AIO terminal does not pre-print receipts regardless of the parameter setting at this time.
Express cards, the sale receipts will reflect the authorization codes transmitted to the terminal by the American Express host (not from the CARDnet host). The LinkPoint AIO will then send captured transactions for deposit to CARDnet during batch closure. The CARDnet host will then transmit the electronically captured items to American Express who are then normally responsible for merchant payment.
The telephone download requires the use of a remote PC with the software necessary to accept incoming download requests. Use the following procedures to set up the LinkPoint AIO terminal for a modem download. When the terminal displays APP. NOT AVAILABLE on line 1 of the display, a full download must be initiated.
Follow the procedures outlined below to set up the LinkPoint AIO terminal for a local download. A serial cable with a DB-9 female to the PC male connector and 8-pin DIN male connector to the terminal’s RS-232C port, such as VeriFone cable part #00446-04 REV.
