Card Swipe Default:
♦ #CSWD, Card swipe Default: [SALE], AUTH, OFFLINE, or TAB
♦ Alphanumeric max length 8 characters (default = sale)
♦ Usage: Sets the default transaction type when the card is swiped at the idle prompt.
Card Expiration Date Check:
♦ #CXEXP, Card Expiration Check: Y or [N]
♦ Enable/Disable (default = disable)
♦ Question max length 1 character
♦ Usage: Verifies the card expiration date on swiped and keyed transactions. If the
value is [Y] and the card date is expired the terminal will display "EXPIRED CARD".
Default Tip Percentage:
♦ #DATIP, Default TIP percentage add-on to auth
♦ Numeric, max length 5 characters, (default = 20), 00020= 20%, 00000 = no add-on
♦ Usage: Adds an automatic nn% tip amount to a restaurant type credit card
transaction based on the transaction total during the authorization.
Default Bar Tab Amount:
♦ #DAUTH, Default Auth amount for bar TAB
♦ Numeric, max length 5, (default = 5000), 5000 = $50.00
♦ Usage: The default bar tab amount for authorization.
Debit Selection:
♦ #DBTHS, DEBIT transactions: Y or [N]
♦ Enable/Disable (default = disable)
♦ Question max length 1 character
♦ Usage: Turns on or off debit entitlement.
Debit Card Tip Entry:
♦ #DBTIP, Debit Card tip entry [0]=PIN pad, 1=Terminal
♦ Numeric max length 1 (default=0)
♦ Usage: Controls which device is used to enter tips for debit transactions.
