Port State – Port states include:
Up – The port is functioning normally.
Blocked – The port has been blocked by the Spanning Tree Protocol.
No port state – Either no CCM has been received, or nor port status TLV was
received in the last CCM.
Interface State – Interface states include:
No Status – Either no CCM has been received, or no interface status TLV was
received in the last CCM.
Up – The interface is ready to pass packets.
Down – The interface cannot pass packets.
Testing – The interface is in some test mode.
Unknown – The interface status cannot be determined for some reason.
Dormant – The interface is not in a state to pass packets but is in a pending
state, waiting for some external event.
Not Present – Some component of the interface is missing.
isLowerLayerDown – The interface is down due to state of the lower layer
interfaces.
Crosscheck Status – Shows if crosscheck function has been enabled.
Web Interface
To show detailed information for remote MEPs:
1.
Click Administration, CFM.
2.
Select Show Information from the Step list.
3.
Select Show Remote MEP Details from the Action list.
4.
Select an entry from MD Index and MA Index.
5.
Select a MEP ID.
