To Perform High-Mass Testing (5977 Series MSDs)

Materials needed
• PFHT calibration sample (5188-5357)

Load tune file ATUNE.U then auto tune the MSD. See
EI Mode" on page 69.
Resolve the PFHT.M method under x\5977\PFHT.M where x is the
instrument number being used.
Update and save the method.
Load the PFHT calibration sample into a vial and place in position 2.
In Instrument Control view select High Mass Check from the Checkout menu.
Follow the instructions on screen.
The Run is completed and results are printed within 5 minutes. See
Figure 12 on page 73.
