– Hot Roller –
1. Follow steps 1 through 4 of the fusing lamp replacement. (See page 3-70.)
2. Open the exit cover and remove the fusing unit cover (2 screws).
3. Remove the top frame (2 screws).
4. Remove the rear terminal bracket (1 screw) and take out the fusing lamp.
5. Unhook the pressure roller springs. (Front and Rear)
6. Remove the C-rings. (Front and Rear)
7. Take out the hot roller gear, bushings.
8. Take out the hot roller.
NOTE: 1. Before reinstalling the hot roller, check the position of the spring anchors are as
shown.
2. Be careful not to damage the pressure and hot roller.
3. Make sure both ends of the fusing lamp properly contact the terminals.
