6-1. CLEARING MISFEEDS

Raise the top unit and remove
the jammed paper.
Note: Do not touch the master
If the paper is caught inside

the cassette,
cassette and remove the jam-
med paper.

If the paper is caught under
the development unit, remove
the jammed paper by pulling
on the leading edge.
This prevents the rollers from
getting dirty.
Note: The copy image is not

If the paper is caught in the
fusing unit, rotate the paper
reverse knob counterclockwise
to release it.
WARNING:

If the jammed paper can not be
removed by rotating the paper
reverse knob, close the top
u n i t a n d r e m o v e t h e c o p y

cover and remove the jammed
paper.
