DETERGENT COMPARTMENT

Removing the detergent compartment

1. Remove the top cover by first removing the 3
screws at the rear edge and then lifting the cover
off.
2. Pull forward and lift out the detergent
compartment.
NOTE
The detergent compartment may have a child sa-
fety catch fitted. To pull out the detergent insert
when the safety catch is set, you have to move the
latch to the left at the same time as you pull out
the tray.
3. Remove the 2 uppermost screws from the
panel and the screw on the upper side.
4. Remove the hose clip and detach the corruga-
ted hose from the detergent compartment.
5. Detach the wires from the underside of the
compartment by cutting the cable tie.
6. Detach the inlet hoses by cutting the cable tie.
Detach the air hose by releasing the hose clip.

Installing the detergent compartment

7. Secure the wiring under the detergent
compartment with a cable tie.
NOTE
The wires must not be pulled tight.
8. Put a hose clip on to the corrugated hose.
9. Put one hand into the detergent compartment
and take hold of the corrugated hose. Lift the
hose with your fingers.
NOTE
Soapy water can be used to facilitate connection
of the corrugated hose to the detergent compart-
ment.
10. Tighten the hose clip.
11. Secure the 3 inlet hoses with cable ties and
the air hose with a hose clip.
12. Secure the compartment with the 3 screws.
13. Refit the detergent insert.
14. Fit the top cover.
IMPORTANT
Don't forget the 2 star washers for the outermost
screws.
