COMPLETE HOLDER ASSEMBLY

Changing the complete holder assembly

(holder, cradle and rear end plate)
1. Remove the detergent compartment in accor-
dance with the section
ment - Removal...".
NOTE
The detergent compartment may have a child sa-
fety catch fitted. To pull out the detergent
compartment when the safety catch is set, you
have to move the latch to the left at the same
time as you pull out the tray.
2. Remove the electrical component bridge pie-
ce in accordance with the section
component bridge piece - Removal...".
3. Remove the drum in accordance with the sec-
tion
"Drum - Removal...".
4. Remove the motor in accordance with steps
3 to 7 in the section
"Motor - Changing mo-
tor".
IMPORTANT
The motor can stay in place while dismantling
the holder. Remember to put the holder down
gently to prevent the motor being damaged.
5. Remove all the necessary hoses and wiring.
6. Remove the holder and cradle.
7. Lift the holder straight up.
8. Transfer the piston rods and rubber dampers
to the shock absorbers.
9. Lower the new holder into the machine and
the piston rods and rubber dampers to the
shock absorbers.
NOTE
Soapy water can be used to make it easier to fit
the rubber dampers.
10. Refit the hoses and wiring.
11. Install the motor in accordance with steps 8
to 11 in the section
"Motor - Changing mo-
tor".
12. Install the drum in accordance with the sec-
tion
"Drum - Install...".
13. Install the electrical component bridge piece
in accordance with the section

14. Install the detergent compartment in accor-
dance with the section
