Highline« centre console
Removing
– Switch off ignition.
Vehicles with automatic gearbox
– Move selector lever to position "N".
– Release selector lever cover along with handle from cover ⇒
Automatic gearbox 09G - 6-gear; Rep. gr. 37 ; Selector mech‐
anism .
Vehicles with manual gearbox
– Release boot along with gearstick knob from cover ⇒ Rep. gr.
34 ; Repairing selector mechanism .
Vehicles with dual clutch gearbox
– Move selector lever to position "N".
– Release selector lever cover along with handle from cover ⇒
Dual clutch gearbox 02E; Rep. gr. 34 ; Selector mechanism .

– Removing CD changer ⇒ Communication; Rep. gr. 91 ; CD

– Remove handbrake lever trim ⇒ Brake system; Rep. gr. 46 ;
Assembly overview - handbrake lever .
– Unclip cover cap -4- on each side of centre console -2- or -5-
undo bolt -3- (3.0 Nm).
– Move handbrake lever -1- to highest position.
