1.8 Removing and installing front seat draw‐
er together with mounting
Note
Removal and installation is described for the left seat. Apply the
same instructions for removal and installation of the right seat as
appropriate.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
♦ Torque wrench -V.A.G 1783-
Removing
– Remove draw -2- from mounting -1-.
– Remove front seat ⇒ page 244
– Remove left trim on seat:
♦ Left trim on seat without adjustable seat height
♦ Left trim on seat with manually adjustable seat height
⇒ page 252 .
♦ Left trim on seat with electrically adjustable seat height
⇒ page 254 .
– Unscrew bolts -4- (8 Nm).
– Detach mounting -1- from seat frame -3- and remove.
