♦ Torque wrench -V.A.G 1783-
Removing
– Mount seat repair stand -VAS 6136- on engine and gearbox
support -VAS 6095- .
– Remove front seat ⇒ page 244
– Fasten seat on seat repair stand -VAS 6136- .
– Remove front seat backrest
– Remove front seat backrest cover and padding
– Mount backrest on seat repair stand -VAS 6136- .
– Unscrew bolts -3- (2 Nm) and detach lumbar support height
adjustment mechanism from backrest frame -1-.
– Unhook lateral fasteners -6- and -5- from backrest frame -1-.
– Unhook lateral fasteners -2- and -7- from backrest frame -1-.
– Detach lumbar support frame -4- from upper mountings

– Remove lumbar support frame -4- from backrest frame -1-.
