Installing
Note
The illustration shows how the -1- cover is fastened in place in the »Comfort« equipment version. The seat
covers of the »Basic« and »Sport« versions are fastened in the same way.
– Place padding on backrest frame.
– Place cover -1- on padding-4-.
– Insert clamping strips -2- of cover -1- into anchoring clips -3-
at the positions indicated -5-.
– Fasten cover -1- to padding -4- all round it with new padding
clips -6- at the positions indicated -7- using padding clip pliers
-V.A.G 1634- .
– Roll cover -1- up at sides and attach clamping strips to back‐
rest frame.
– Further installation is performed in the reverse order of re‐
moval.
