– Remove hand holds on left and right sides of roof
– Undo bolts -4- (2 Nm) from retaining frame.
– Carefully unlatch retaining clips -3- from rear roof cross mem‐
ber -2-.
– Carefully unlatch retaining clips -5- from front roof cross mem‐
ber -6-.
Note
Retaining clips -5- must always be renewed before installation.
– Fold backrest of driver's and front passenger's seat back‐
wards.
– Detach moulded headliner -1- from door seal beading and
lower.
Models with sliding/tilting sunroof
– Push wedge -T10039/1- between frame -1- and moulded
headlining -2-.
