Installing
WARNING
♦ Follow safety regulations for pyrotechnic components
⇒ page 1 .
♦ Before handling pyrotechnic components (e.g. connecting
the electrical connector), the person handling them must
ensure that he/she is "electrically discharged". To do this
e.g. briefly touch the door striker plate.
– Push wiring harness -1- into rear conduit of padding.
– Push wiring harness in area of -arrows A and B- into the pad‐
ding recess.
– Align sensor -2- in foam recess of padding.
Caution
When do so, make sure that the clearance around the sensor
-2- in the foam recess is constant.
