❑ Before gluing, positioning aids must be aligned with the positioning aids of the front seat cushion padding

5 - Pressure sensor for seat occupied recognition -G452-
❑ Do not separate from front seat cushion padding
❑ If the components are separated from each other, they are both to be renewed.
❑ In vehicles with seat heater, the heating element is also to be renewed.
❑ However, the seat occupied recognition control unit -J706- does not have to be renewed
❑ Before installation, the front sensor section must be separated at the perforation; there are no sensors
in this area.
❑ Removing and installing
6 - Adhesive surfaces
❑ Adhesive surfaces for gluing to front seat cushion padding
❑ First, remove protective film immediately before gluing
7 - Bolt
❑ Bolt for seat occupied recognition control unit -J706-
❑ 1.5 Nm
8 - Bracket
❑ Bracket of seat occupied recognition control unit -J706-
❑ Clipped onto seat frame
❑ Removing and installing
9 - Seat occupied recognition control unit -J706-
❑ Can be diagnosed
❑ The necessity for replacement of the seat occupied recognition control unit -J706- does not mean that
the pressure sensor for seat occupied recognition -G452- has to be replaced as well.
