Safety measures when working on ve-
hicles with a start-stop system
Observe the following when working on vehicles with a start-stop
system:
WARNING
Risk of injury due to automatic engine starting in vehicles with
a start-stop system.
♦ In vehicles with an activated start-stop system (indicated
by a message in the dash panel insert), the engine may
start automatically if necessary.
♦ When working on the vehicle, therefore, make sure that
the start-stop system is deactivated (switch off the ignition;
switch the ignition on again if necessary).
