Before installing, check all fasteners for damage and renew if

necessary.
Following installation, ensure that lock carrier cover is posi‐

tioned in rear lid seal beading.
5.4 Removing and installing high-voltage
battery cover, hybrid vehicles
WARNING
When working on hybrid vehicles, observe the corresponding
safety instructions ⇒ Electrical system, hybrid vehicles; Rep.
gr. 93 ; Electric drive .
Removing:
– Remove caps -2-.
– Unscrew bolts -3- (20 Nm).
– Remove lashing eyes -1- from cover.
