♦ Removal wedge -3409-
Removing
– Switch off ignition if vehicle has interior monitoring system.
– Remove sill strip ⇒ page 206
– Detach upper B-pillar trim
– Pull retaining clips -1- and -2- of trim -2- out of mountings in
body.
– Release trim -3- from door seal beading.
– In the case of vehicles with interior monitoring, disconnect wir‐
ing harness from interior monitoring switch -E183- .
