Allow / Suppress Base Station Switch during a Call

You can registrate and operate the mobile phones on different base stations of the Siemens
Gigaset family. This includes non ISDN base stations.
To prevent the switch of an active call to a non ISDN base station, then you must define to which
base station may be switched.

Switching to Another Base Station during a Call

If you have installed a multicell system with at least two ISDN base stations, then you are able to
switch the ISDN base station during an external call without having to interrupt the external call.
If you determine that you have approached the limitation of the operational range of the base sta-
tion and want to switch to the next base station, inform you communications partner that you
will pause for a moment to switch base stations.

Press the F key; Main menu is displayed
Scroll the main menu with NEXT until "Set-
tings" is in the 1st line and then select with
OK.
Scroll the menu for "Multicell Config." and
then select with OK.
Press this to select the base station, here
the station 1.
Press this to verify the settings
Press this to allow the switch during a call
(or when active, press OFF to deactivate)
The base station that you want to switch to
during a call will be displayed marked with a
"P" .
You have an external connection.
Press CHANGE to switch from the opera-
tional range of one base station to that of
another base station.
You can continue the call on another base
station.
