Operating the Standard Mobile Unit
Setting the Connection Configuration for the Internal Subscriber
You can define which types of devices can be served on the subscriber connections in the sys-
tem.
Cordless devices (internal subscriber numbers 1 to 8) are either mobile units or cordless TAE
connections like Gigaset 1000TAE that allow, for example, the connection of telephones and fax
machine cordless to Gigaset 1054isdn. "Mobile unit" is the default setting for these devices.
For the non cordless devices (internal subscriber numbers 0 and 9) the devices type "telephone"
is the default setting. Modems or fax machines should be connected to 0, and a door opener can
only be connected to connection 9.

Press the displayed keys one after
another; enter the system code (default
setting 0000).
Each entered number replaces a dash in
the display.
The internal subscriber number 0 with
the setting telephone will be displayed
To search for a subscriber number press
the redial key repeatedly.
The registrated internal subscriber num-
bers with the current settings will be
displayed
Exam; ple: For internal 1 a mobile unit is

device type, here, for example, a cord
